Stands Up To Torrential Down Pours

I bought these for a motorcycle trip because raingear from motorcycle apparel companies is very expensive due to it being a niche market. I tried these pants because I really like the Columbia brand and have quite a few Columbia items (fleeces, winter jackets, etc.). I wanted to be able to put them on over my clothes without having to take my boots off, which they worked great for. I will admit that I was worried of how well they would stand up to heavy rain. I was pleasantly surprise to find that they stood up to torrential rains like a champ! They also dried fairly quickly while hanging in my hotel room. I love them, and they will go on all my future motorcycle trips.

Nothing Is Worse Then Wet Undies On A Hike!

Based on previous hiking experiences when I was unprepared or thought a cheap pair of rain pants would keep my dry I splurged on these Columbia pants! So worth it!! The length was perfect and they were easy to take on & off with the bottom Velcro. Totally worth it!

They Were Okay

They ripped the first time I wore them so I am returning them. No pockets but definitely will keep you dry, I slid down a mountain a few times and not one ounce of wetness could be felt. Great for layering but will be looking for a better quality pants with pockets.

Rain Pants

They keep your legs dry in the rain...hence the name. Good quality though
